We are all on a journey…a journey called—life. We are born—we live—and then…we die. Throughout this journey our Creator—Almighty God—seeks to draw us to Him through His Holy Spirit and through His Holy Word. He wants you to spend eternity with Him. When you draw your last breath, do you know where you will spend eternity?
Do you know that you are going to heaven when you die? You can know.
How to receive Jesus Christ:
1) Admit your need. (I am a sinner.) “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” Romans 3:10.
2) Be willing to turn from your sin. (Repent.) “...God...commandeth all men everywhere to repent:” Acts 17:30.
3) Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10.
4) Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receive Him as Lord and Savior.) “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13.
What you can pray: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
What to do now? Get involved in a local Bible-believing church. Follow the Lord in believer’s baptism. Become a disciple of Jesus Christ.
